Gray Talent Group is hiring a part-time accounting clerk to join our growing talent agency in the entertainment field. This role is ideal for someone who can apply their skill and effort without being micro managed while moving quickly and accurately. This position also has a flexible schedule.
This qualified individual should have experience with Quickbooks Online and experience with both accounts payable & receivable. Great customer service and numeracy skills required.
Specific duties include:
- Creates documents, such as invoices and checks, and handles business transactions
- Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts.
- Interfaces with external venders and customers regarding invoices issued and received.
- Interfaces with internal department managers and their supervisors to verify daily operations and project tracking.
We are also looking for energetic, highly motivated people who can work quickly and stay organized. Previous experience in the industry is a plus, but not mandatory. Interns will learn the daily duties of an agent and the basics of how the business works. Duties will include calling out auditions, database and website maintenance, some filing, sitting in on auditions and scouting talent through showcases and theatre performances.
Interns will be required to work an 8-hour day, 2 days a week, depending on your availability. We are able to make your internship worth course credit but do not offer any financial compensation at this time.
