Angela Alise hails originally from Kansas City, MO and moved to Chicago to study Theatre at Loyola University. After graduation, she knew this was home and has worked with various companies in the Chicagoland area. Some of her favorite acting credits include: The Wolves (Goodman Theatre), The House That Will Not Stand (Victory Gardens Theatre), Saturday Night/Sunday Morning (2014 Steppenwolf Garage Rep.), How We Got On (Haven Theatre), Coming Home (Erasing the Distance where she is an Ensemble Member), Nothing to Lose But Our Chains and Black Side of the Moon (Second City @ Woolly Mammoth Theatre). The Black Side of the Moon Ensemble was one of the first all African American casts at Second City, and the production was the best selling show in Woolly Mammoth’s history. Angela was also a 2018 NBC Universal and Second City Bob Curry Fellow. She has not only worked as an actor, but she previously served as the Artistic Director of Prologue Theatre Company for 5 seasons. When not acting, you might catch her playing soccer or grilling some KC BBQ. Angela loves being a part of the Gray Talent Family!
