Angela Alise was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. (Home of the Best BBQ in the World, and she is totally down to debate you on this.) She moved to Chicago to study at Loyola University and graduated with her BA in Theatre and Sociology.
During her time in Chicago, she worked professionally as an actor and singer for many years. Some of her favorite acting credits include: The Wolves (Goodman Theatre - Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Ensemble), The House That Will Not Stand (Victory Gardens Theatre), Saturday Night/Sunday Morning (Prologue Theatre @ 2014 Steppenwolf Garage Rep.) Nothing to Lose But Our Chains and Black Side of the Moon (Second City @ Woolly Mammoth Theatre).
Angela not only performed in Chicago, but she produced numerous projects as the Artistic Director of Prologue Theatre and worked in Arts Administration at the World Renowned Steppenwolf Theatre Company. She was also a 2018 NBC Universal and Second City Bob Curry Fellow. Angela now splits her time between Los Angeles and Chicago, and she can’t wait to see what her and the Gray Talent Family conquer next!
