Anna Maldonado is originally from the Lone Star state of Texas. She grew up in San Antonio and studied Theatre at the University of Texas in Austin where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. While attending UT at Austin, Anna was fortunate to be directed in the lead role of Medea by former Broadway director Beth F. Milles. Upon graduating, Anna was cast as the lead role in the touring production of "Letters to an Alien" with Idaho Theatre for Youth. Anna is classically trained in Shakespearean & Greek Theatre.
She is dedicated to perfecting the craft of acting and has studied with the likes of Dee Wallace Stone and Patsy Rodenburg. Anna believes Chicago is the perfect community for actors to thrive in both theatre and film.
When Anna is not acting, she flies the friendly skies for American Airlines and serves as Regional Director for Airline Ambassadors International, a non-profit organization which helps provide aid to orphans and underprivileged youth worldwide.
