Anu Bhatt was born in London, grew up in San Diego, and made Chicago her home in 2010. She holds a B.A. in Linguistics from U.C. Berkeley and received her M.F.A. in Acting from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.
This fall, she will be playing the principal role in Lifeline's production of JANE EYRE. Recent credits include Hero in Rasaka Theatre's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING - BOLLYWOOD STYLE in residence at Victory Gardens, INVASION (u/s) at Silk Road Rising, and HENRY VIII at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, directed by Barbara Gaines.
Anu is fluent in French and also speaks some Hindi, Bengali and Spanish. She has over twenty years' training in Indian classical and folk dance and will be running her second Chicago marathon this October.
