A graduate of Northwestern University, Austin has worked extensively in film, television, theatre, and restaurants. Film credits include “Hitch,” “The Company Men,” and “Arbitrage.” Television credits include “Elementary,” “Person of Interest,” “Blue Bloods,” “Law & Order,” and a recurring role as defense attorney Russell Hunter on “Law & Order: SVU.” Theater highlights include Theresa Rebeck’s “The Water’s Edge” at 2nd Stage with Kate Burton and Tony Goldwyn, Richard Greenberg’s “The American Plan” on Broadway with Lily Rabe and Mercedes Ruehl, and playing Lysander in Daniel Sullivan’s production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” for Shakespeare in the Park alongside Mireille Enos and the incomparable Martha Plimpton.
A singer/songwriter as well, Austin is currently gearing up to record his debut solo album “Trench Art” under the name Austin Randall sometime this spring. You can find him on YouTube here:
