Military service included three years with the American Forces Radio and Television Service in (then) West Berlin, Germany. Has a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MFA from University of Wisconsin Madison. Spent a summer at Illinois Shakespeare Festival, debuted in Chicago with Oak Park Festival Theatre and began a run of many years in many city theatres along with industrial and commercial work.
Dropped out of performing for several years to be a stay-at-home dad, picking up some IT training on the side. Returned to the theatre when his youngest child entered high school and juggled performing with an IT career.
A multiple Jeff theatre Award nominee (and a winner), he’s an ensemble member with Redtwist and Promethean theatres, he’s also appeared on the stages of Remy Bummpo, Lifeline, Steep, Eclipse, Northlight, Court and Wisdom Bridge. He’s had a recurring role in the web series THE DREAMERS, and you’ve probably heard his voice selling or explaining something vital.
