Caitlin Collins, a Chicagoland native, has been in love with this city’s theatre scene ever since she was a gleeful ten-year-old performing in the original cast of The American Girl Revue. She is a proud Summa Cum Laude graduate of Northwestern University with a B.S. in Theatre and a Music Theatre Certificate.
Favorite Chicago and regional theatre credits include originating the role of Anna in the Goodman Theatre’s world-premiere production of Magnolia, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, as well as productions with Indiana Repertory, Drury Lane, Griffin Theatre, The Palace Theater, Oracle Productions/White Elephant, Provision Theater, Cardinal Stage Company, Two Pence Theatre Company, and workshops/readings with Steppenwolf, American Blues Theater and The Music Theatre Company.
Television appearances include FOX’s Empire and NBC’s Chicago Fire. She can also be seen in several independent films and heard in video game, radio drama, and commercial voice over work. This summer, she is looking forward to playing Jessica in the regional premiere of Hand To God at the Studio Theatre in Washington, D.C.
In addition to acting, Caitlin is a playwright, currently working on her first full-length piece, and is having fun learning the ukulele and writing songs. She is immensely grateful for the support of her amazing family and friends and looks forward to what’s next!
