Cat Christmas was born in Highland Park, Illinois but raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She then eventually moved back to Illinois to complete her BFA Acting at The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. She is currently a third year student at The Theatre School and completing her minor in Film Production. Her past credits include Veronica in Yasmina Reza's God of Carnage directed by Azar Kazemi, and Emily in Jen Silverman's The Moors directed by Laura Alcala Baker, both at DePaul University. Upcoming is her Theatre School main stage debut in P.J Gibson's A Long Time Since Yesterday directed by Wardell Julius Clark and Nick Payne's Constellations directed by Hallie Gordon. Her future hopes include, creating her own film production company run by women of color and portraying roles that uplift the black woman's voice. She draws her inspiration from four powerful black women that raised her: her mother, grandmother, and two aunts.
