Curtis M. Jackson

A native of Milwaukee, Curtis holds a BA in Theatre from Columbia College Chicago and a MFA from Point Park University.
Theatrical credits include the US Premiere of Harper Regan at Steep Theatre Company and the World Premieres of LULU, A Charlie Chaplin Christmasand Noir at Silent Theatre Company. Other credits include Pheadre, Angels in America Part: I, Carter's Way and the National Tour of Letters Home. Film credits include Carjacked, Ceebu Jen and Saddam's Lions. Curtis has also performed inLive Your Best Life appearing onstage with Oprah Winfrey along side her friends Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Elizabeth Banks, Gail King, Tracy Chapman and Bette Midler.
Curtis is a Co-Founder and Company Member of Silent Theatre Company. He has also performed with numerous companies including Steppenwolf, Congo Square, Griffin Theatre, PROP THTR, Quantum Theatre and Ensemble Studio Theatre.
Curtis is an Adjunct Faculty member at Columbia College Chicago where he teaches Theatre Foundations and Collaborative Art. He is the first recipient of The Artist of Excellence Award from Hartford Avenue School's Alumni Association.
