Dan Leahy is a Chicago-born actor, singer, and improviser who has been signed with GTG since October 2016. He is a recent graduate of Northwestern University with double departmental honors, having studied theatre and economics, with certificates in musical theatre and marketing, and a module in film. He has been in LA since January 2018, and is currently studying improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade. Chicago credits include the Marriott Theatre, the Goodman Theatre, and Adventure Stage.
At Northwestern he was a 2-year ensemble member of Mee-Ow, a short-form improv and sketch comedy group whose past membership includes Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Seth Meyers, and Ana Gasteyer. Mainstage credits include: The Waa-Mu Show, American Idiot (Tunny), The Laramie Project, The Great Gatsby, and The Hundred Dresses. He also took part in various readings through the American Musical Theatre Project, directed by David H. Bell, Geoff Button, Amanda Dehnert, Ryan Cunningham, and Alexander Sage Oyen.
