Dan Leahy is an actor, singer, and improviser hailing from the great suburb of Downers Grove, Illinois. He is a soon-to-be graduate of Northwestern University with majors in Theatre and Economics and certificates in Musical Theatre and Acting for the Screen. He is a part of Mee-Ow, Northwestern’s premiere short form improv and live sketch group, as well as an ensemble member of Northwestern Sketch Television. At Northwestern, he has performed on the theatre mainstage in American Idiot, The Laramie Project, The Great Gatsby, and The Waa-Mu Show. He also took part in a reading of a new musical written by Alexander Sage Oyen.
Outside of school, Dan recently booked a role on Shrink, Ted Tremper’s new TV series which will be appearing on Seeso, NBC’s comedy streaming service. His role was completely improvised, which was a blast. He’s so excited to get started in the Chicago film and theatre scene!
