Originally from Miami, Florida, Daniella Pereira left everything she knew to pursue her dreams in the frigid Windy City. In May of 2015, she received a bachelor in fine arts at the Chicago College of Performing Arts (Roosevelt University). Although she has still not become accustomed to the weather...even after being here for 7 years, she is truly in awe of the city and its magic. She is a proud first generation Colombian American. Since graduating, Daniella has appeared in Letters Home (Griffin Theatre Company), The Taming of the Shrew (Oak Park Festival Theatre), Here Lies the water/Here stands the man (Nadja Leonard-Hopper and Genevieve Fowler), Women Laughing Alone with Salad (Theatre Wit), and Bus Stop (Eclipse theatre). She is also an ensemble member of Strawdog Theatre, most recently appearing in Cymbeline.
Other Chicago credits include: Electricidad, and As You Like it (CCPA). TV credits include Empire (FOX). Daniella’s On-Camera training includes: Janelle Snow and Coburn Goss.
Outside of acting, Daniella loves to tend to her plants, spend time with loved ones and works part time as a personal trainer at Lincoln Park Athletic Club!
