Danni Smith, originally from Logansport, Indiana is an actor and vocalist in Chicago. Danni moved to Chicago in 2005 after completing her degree at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She's had the pleasure of working all over the Chicagoland area including Marriott Theatre, Paramount Theatre, Porchlight Music Theatre, Chicago Children's Theatre, Theatre at the Center, Victory Gardens, ATC, Drury Lane Oakbrook, Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre, Bailiwick Chicago, Steppenwolf Garage Rep, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, and Lakeside Shakespeare. Danni also stars in indie feature film The Gateway. Danni is a four-time Joseph Jefferson Award recipient for her roles in The Wild Party, Always Patsy Cline, Passion, and See What I Wanna See; with additional nominations for The Glorious Ones, Pump Boys and Dinettes, and Jesus Christ Superstar. She is co-founder of Firebrand Theatre, the world's first equity women-focused musical theatre company, where she continues to serve on the Artistic Advisory Board.
