Debo Balogun
Debo Balogun is a multidisciplinary artist from Chicago, IL. His talents range from acting to writing to poetry to rapping to music production. He has worked with a wide array of Chicago theatre companies such as The Goodman, Lookingglass Theatre, First Folio Theatre, and Steep Theatre Company to name a few. While Debo has appeared on a number of network television shows like Chicago Med, Fargo and Single Drunk Female, he is most known for his heavily recurring role as Detective Seamus Bennigan on the hit STARZ drama, Power Book IV: Force.
When not on screen or on stage, Debo prides himself in being a wiz in the kitchen, an overzealous dog dad, and devout student of intricate rap/hip-hop lyricism.
He is an Artistic Associate with Oak Park Festival Theatre and an ensemble member with Steep Theatre Company.
