Devin Kawaoka grew up a downhill ski racer in Rochester, New York with dreams of competing in the Olympics. It was only after he realized how cold snow was that he took to acting.
He attended New York University, twice. First as an undergraduate and then at the Graduate Acting Program on a full merit scholarship. Soon after graduating, Devin won the Rosemarie Tichler Award for his performance in Unnatural Acts at the Classic Stage Company.
On screen you can see him delivering dry zingers while hiding heart of gold in the upcoming film Submission starring Stanley Tucci or as an over educated blowhard on Hulu's The Path and CBS's Criminal Minds.
A New Yorker through and through, he now j-walks as much as he can in Los Angeles. When he's not hiking, he's usually enjoying all the freshest produce California has to offer.
