Emma Maltby

Hailing from New York, Emma moved to Chicago to attend the University of Chicago where she studied Theater Studies and English Language and Literature. While in school, she performed in the Midwest Premiere of I SAW MY NEIGHBOR ON THE TRAIN AND I DIDN’T EVEN SMILE by Suzanne Heathcote at Redtwist Theatre and understudied THE WOLVES (Jeff Award for Best Ensemble) at Goodman Theatre.

Since graduating, she has continued to work with Goodman Theatre, American Theatre Company, and appeared in the World Premiere of CLEARING by Beth Hyland at Commission Theatre.

She is currently an Acting Apprentice in the Professional Training Company at Actors Theatre of Louisville where she has understudied DRACULA and PIPELINE (January 2019).
