Emma Neira began acting in the 4th grade. Her bright spirit and irresistible raspy voice has enabled her to shine on stage. She began acting in her hometown of Bloomington, Illinois with musical theatre, playing Glinda in The Wiz and Mrs. Mayor in Seussical the Musical. After moving to Chicago in September of 2013, she now calls the Windy City home! She has taken classes at Acting Studio Chicago, Vagabond and improvisation at Second City. She is currently a junior at DePaul University. Emma’s most recent role is in the feature film, No Resolution, where she plays the flirtatious, manipulative college girl “Shawna.“
Emma’s smile brightens every room she enters into; her laughter brings down any possible human barrier, and her enthusiasm for life is formidable. She is very comfortable in a diverse and multicultural environment where she negotiates life with ease. Having spent most of her summers in the Northwest coast of Spain, Emma truly appreciates the simple pleasures of life, the taste of good food, and marvels of good conversation around the dinner table. From her Chilean father, Emma gets the enjoyment of a well-crafted story; from her Spanish mother, she gets the bliss of life, and from her older brother, the raw beauty of music.
