Henry McGinniss is a graduate of the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and is a proud member of Actors Equity.
Since graduation, he has appeared on television in NBC’s Chicago Fire and in a number of commercials. He has also been seen on stage at theatres all around Chicago, the Midwest and East Coast; including Paramount Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook, Mercury Theater Chicago, Marriott Lincolnshire, KC Starlight Theatre, Theatre at the Center, Peninsula Players, Griffin Theatre, Boho Theatre, Baliwick Chicago, and Broadway in Chicago.
In 2017 he received two Joseph Jefferson Award nominations in the same category: “Principal actor in a Musical”—winning for his work as the title character in Griffin Theatre’s Bat Boy: the Musical.
You can currently catch Henry traveling the country with the Broadway National Tour of The Book of Mormon.
When he is not on stage, he enjoys reading, playing and watching sports, working out, cooking, playing with dogs, and traveling.
