Chicago native Jack Corkery is an actor, improviser, and singer. He started performing on stage when he was twelve and most recently appeared at JPAC Theatre, Wheaton Drama, and Schaumburg Summer Theatre at the Prairie Center for the Arts. He enjoys writing and reading about history and political science. Jack studied acting at UIC and took improv classes at the Annoyance Theatre. He played Grampa Joad in the All State production of “Grapes of Wrath” and was awarded All State Cast for playing Michael Novak in “God of Carnage” at the IHSA State Drama Competition. His experimental animated film “Ozymandias” won an Award of Merit from the After Hours Film Society. In addition, Jack was awarded a gold star for attendance in second grade.
