Jackson Evans hails from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and even though he no longer lives there he still considers himself a proud Iowan. Growing up his family gave him the nickname "Dances with Trees" due to his propensity for staging musicals for his wooded front yard. Eventually he desired some human audience members and so he got involved with his community theatre and when in high school, competitive show choir became his passion. For college he went to Northwestern University just north of Chicago and after graduating with an aptly titled BS in Theater, he continued living his dream in the great city of Chicago. He's been lucky to work with a lot of different theatres in the Chicagoland area including Drury Lane Oakbrook, Lincolnshire Marriott, Chicago Shakespeare, Victory Gardens, About Face, Light Opera Works, Theatre at the Center, and First Stage Milwaukee. He as been continuing his training at the Meisner based Black Box Acting Studio and the brilliant artists there have changed his life for the better. But he recently decided that his life needed a change so he is going to relocate to Los Angeles for pilot season in search of a new adventure and an escape from Chicago's harsh winter.
