Jarrod Zimmerman

Jarrod Zimmerman is an actor, creator, web designer and developer based in Chicago. He is a graduate of Northwestern University. As an actor, he has worked in Chicago and across the country. Some of favorite his roles include Franklin Shepard in Merrily We Roll Along (The Music Theatre Company), Hal in Proof (Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre), Oscar in Sweet Charity (Writers Theatre) and Edward Rutledge in 1776 (American Conservatory Theatre and Asolo Repertory Theatre), directed by Tony Award winner Frank Galati. Other Chicago theaters at which Jarrod has worked include: Goodman Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Marriott Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook, Northlight Theatre, Porchlight Music Theater and Provision Theater. On television, Jarrod has appeared in Boss (STARZ).

As a writer/creator, Jarrod has worked with Tommy Schlamme (executive producer of The West Wing and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip), Bruce Helford (executive producer of Anger Management and The Drew Carey Show) and Sony Pictures Television on a pilot for ABC called Boyfred that he co-created with Michael Mahler, Alan Schmuckler and Blake Silver.
