Joe is a firefighter/paramedic who has found his way back to doing what he loves, acting. He’s been working as an extra on Chicago Fire and Chicago Med playing …well, you guessed it, a firefighter/medic. They have also been using him as a stand in. It’s here that he realized this is what he needed to be doing. Joe has been doing theatre since he was 14 with his first role being that of Oliver in a musical review. He then continued performing into adulthood. He has performed in small storefront theaters, as well as The Rialto in Joliet. Some of the theaters and groups he has worked with include The Drama Group, Fake Shrubbery Theatre, Playhouse, and the United Methodist Players. Writing and Directing is something he has also done, having written and directed six shows of his own. Joe’s love for comedy led him to train at Second City Chicago. He is currently honing his on camera skills at The Green Room Studio. Joe enjoys coming up with different characters, voice patterns and dialects. Joe took some time away from acting when he suddenly became a single dad of three. He has since remarried and the kids have all grown. Joe is excited to be with Gray Talent and to be performing again.
