John Griffin

A Stanford graduate, John has recurred, guest starred, or co-starred in nearly 50
episodes of television, in addition to his work in both studio and independent film,
and his stage performances in New York and Los Angeles. Recent credits
include guest starring on Lethal Weapon, recurring on Young & The Restless,
and the feature comedy Babysplitters opposite Danny Pudi (Community.) John
also had the honor of being directed by Clint Eastwood in the Warner Brothers
feature Jersey Boys, where he both sang and acted. Other notable credits
include guest starring on 24 and the 100th episode of Castle, three seasons
playing "Newton" on the Lifetime series Strong Medicine, and a supporting role in
SONY’s Priest (opposite Paul Bettany). On stage, he has starred opposite Oscar
winners Richard Dreyfuss (The Secret Order – off Broadway,) and Martin Landau
(The Secret Order – LA,) and Tony Award winners Tyne Daly and John Glover.
John himself was nominated for the Ovation Award in the category of Best Lead
Actor in a Musical for originating the role of “Jason” in BARE, a role he later
reprised in NY at the New York Theatre Workshop.
