Johnson Brock hails from Austin, and moved to Chicago after graduating from Northwestern University. He spent one year on scholarship at Lou Conte Dance Studio; he is grateful for the passionate community of dance educators in Chicago. He is especially fond of Tammy Mader’s teaching and is privileged to work on her upcoming production of Bye Bye Birdie as the Dance Captain. He has worked at Drury Lane Oakbrook (Billy Elliot, Singin’ in the Rain), Theatre at the Center (42nd Street, All Shook Up) and Porchlight (Side Show). In 2013 he toured Japan with Disney Live! as a dancing fork. Johnson continues to shape his craft by currently taking on camera class with Janelle Snow and Shakespeare class with Susan Hart and Jeffery Carlson. His parents live in London and he wants to visit more often. He loves sailing adventures with his three, ridiculously talented, younger brothers and is proud to be an Eagle Scout.
