Jonah Kaufman is in fifth grade at Science and Arts Academy. He made his professional theater debut in 2017 in Prague Shakespeare Company's Midsummer Night's Dream, followed by a recurring role at Artistic Home in Chicago’s Miracle on 34th street. Most recently, Jonah starred in Raven Theatre's Cold Town Hotline which garnered rave reviews for his performance - Chicago Reader exclaimed he is "an extraordinary child actor" and Stage and Cinema gushed that Jonah is "irresistible," "beyond cute" and "one precious prodigy." Jonah is the youngest member of Lookingglass Theatre's Young Ensemble, where he will be playing James in their ensemble show of James and the Giant Peach. He studied piano at Lincoln Park Music conservatory since he was four. An accomplished piano player and student at the Lincoln Park Conservatory, Jonah was selected to perform a piano duet with his teacher in Vienna at the Beethoven Museum's 75th anniversary ceremony.
