Jorja Brown

Jorja Brown is a young actress most known for her off-Broadway debut  playing Jonelle in CHARM at MCC Theater. A review from The Daily Beast called her “intelligent, gorgeous, with legs for days”. Variety magazine called her “effervescent”. Broadway Box said she was a breakout star!

Jorja grew up in Chicago, starting her acting training through Lookingglass Theatre at the age of 7. She studied Musical Theatre at the Chicago High School for the Arts, and studied acting at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She has appeared in several Chicago productions including The People’s Temple, directed by her late mentor PJ Paparelli of American Theater Company, and The Room at A Red Orchid Theatre, directed by dado.

Jorja is currently based in New York City. She is a pianist and singer/songwriter, and a fierce advocate for trans actors. She is instagram followable @talljorja.
