Josh Salt

Josh is an actor and writer based in New York and Chicago. Josh recently appeared on NBC's Chicago PD as Cameron Spence. Other TV includes Agent Tim Cantrell on STARZ's Power (Coming Soon), NBC's "Chicago Fire", and CBS's "Person of Interest.

Josh was the understudy to Daniel Radcliffe in "The Cripple of Inishmaan" on Broadway, and went on for him last minute.

He has acted in workshops and readings with Emelie Hirsch, Michael Stuhlbarg, Steven Spinella, Dana Ivey, Bill Irwin, John Glover, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Donna Lynne Champlin, Michael Park and many others under direction by Sam Gold, Pam MacKinnon, David Esbjornson, Ethan McSweeny, cutting edge playwrights like Steven Sater, Dierdre Kinahan, Craig Lucas, and award winning choreographers like Bill T. Jones.

Josh holds a BA in Theatre from Columbia College Chicago. Some of his favorite theatrical productions when he was a student included Equus, The Normal Heart, The Lonesome West, Of Mice and Men, and The Space Between.

He enjoys ukulele and slacklining.
