Karen Janes Woditsch

Karen has worked at many wonderful theatre’s in Chicago including Steppenwolf, Goodman, Court, Chicago Shakespeare, Northlight, and in over 20 productions at Writers’ Theatre. She also performed the role of Julia Child in the world premier of To Master the Art, written by William Brown and Doug Frew and produced at Timeline Theatre and later at The Broadway Playhouse, earning her a Joseph Jefferson nomination for Best Performance by an Actress, and improving her culinary skills, much to her husband’s and son’s delight.

She has co-starred on a number of television shows and films. She is a proud member of AEA, and SAG/AFTRA, and an After Dark Award winner.

And if she could get acting jobs in which she could also ride horses in Scotland, her performing aspirations might be fulfilled.
