Kathleen has been a professional actress since she interrupted her music degree at St. Norbert College to be cast as Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof at Centre Stage Theater in Milwaukee. She followed that up by being embraced by one of America’s most successful Summer Stock Companies, Milwaukee’s Melody Top Theatre. There, she literally met her husband (Robb Alton) on stage and performed many featured roles: Aldonza in Man of La Mancha with John Raitt, Gypsy Rose Lee in Gypsy and The Widow in Zorba with Giorgio Tozzi , to only name a few. Soon after, she moved to Chicago, performing as Bella in the American Premier of Robert & Elizabeth. Kathleen has continued to work at many Chicago venues since then. She toured in Evita (along with her husband and son) to most of America’s major cities, as well as playing the show in Canada, Europe, Scandinavia and the Far East. While living in NYC she enjoyed portraying Mrs. Jenkins (Adam Chandler Junior’s baby nurse) on All My Children and being cast in national commercials for Joy Dishwashing Liquid and Burroughs Computers.
