LaNora was born and raised in Rochester, NY. She moved to Chicago in 2013 to attend The Theatre School at DePaul University, from which she graduated with an M.F.A. in Acting. A few of her favorite Theatre School credits include These Shining Lives (Frances), Joe Turner's Come and Gone (Martha Pentecost), and Translation of Likes (Ray of Light). After graduate school, she worked with several great Chicago theatre companies and countless amazing Chicago artists before moving back to New York City, where she continues to work.
In her free time, she loves to write, cook, knit, decorate, and build furniture. She loves a DIY project. To date she has made her own laundry detergent, beauty products, haircare products, and home decor. She believes every challenge is an adventure and every adventure contains it's own challenge. By finding amusement in it all, she sets out to make her world a little more delightful.
Currently she is working as a voiceover artist for ComEd. Check out a few clips on her website!
