LaNora was born and raised in Rochester, NY. She moved to Chicago in 2013 to attend The Theatre School at DePaul University, from which she has recently graduated with an M.F.A. in Acting. A few of her favorite Theatre School credits include These Shining Lives (Frances), Joe Turner's Come and Gone (Martha Pentecost), and Translation of Likes (Ray of Light).
LaNora was recently seen in Eclipse Theatre’s production of Our Lady of 121st Street, where she understudied and had the opportunity to perform the role of Inez.
In her free time she loves to write, cook, knit, decorate, and build furniture. She loves a DIY project. To date she has made her own laundry detergent, beauty products, haircare products, and home decor. She believes every challenge is an adventure and every adventure contains it's own challenge. By finding amusement in it all, she sets out to make her world a little more delightful.
Next Up: LaNora is understudying the role of Kate in TimeLine Theatre’s production of The Last Wife.
