Lizzie Bourne is a British, classically trained actor living in Chicago. She graduated from the Oxford School of Drama in 2013 and has since been working in London, UK, on projects with Complicite, Carol Morley and the BBC. She can be heard in Home Front, BBC Radio 4’s series chronicling World War I, playing series regular Juliet Cavendish – visit BBC iPlayer to listen internationally! Other favourite projects have included: Dough! (a kids’ clowning show about bread); The Glorious Damnation of Eddie Small (a bluegrass musical); Much Ado About Nothing (because who doesn’t love playing Beatrice?).
Lizzie holds a BA(Hons) from The University of Nottingham, and an MSc from The University of Edinburgh. She runs In Your Own Words, a writing company crafting bespoke readings and speeches for occasions such as weddings, funerals and birthdays.
Lizzie feels she’s been welcomed into this city with open arms and is thrilled to be getting involved.
