Maddie hails from Minnesota and was no stranger to the cold upon moving to Chicago. Growing up, she began performing as a dancer with her sister at a local dance studio. She started acting and singing in middle junior high and hasn’t stopped since. Throughout high school she spent her summers teaching drama camp during the day and performing in the Eagan Theater at night.
Maddie then moved to Chicago to pursue a career in theater. She holds a BFA in Musical Theater from Columbia College Chicago.
You'll see her this May, making her Williams Street Rep. debut in Bernard Pomerance's The Elephant Man. Other recent credits Eve in An Artist And The Ember, in the 2019 Chicago Musical Theatre Festival; Hermia & Moth in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Lady Percy & Sir Walter Blunt in Henry IV Part I with Hoosier Shakes.
When she is not performing, Maddie enjoys exploring coffee shops, crafting breakfast, doing yoga, befriending local dogs, and making music.
