When Madison was 5 years old her mother took her to see Les Miserables. On the ride home she proclaimed “That’s gonna be me one day,” and has never stopped trying to achieve that goal. Her confidence, vocal skills and maturity beyond her years helped her earn roles beginning that very year.
Regional theatre credits include A Christmas Memory (Nelle Harper) with Theatre at The Centre in Munster, IN and The Secret Garden (Mary Lennox) with Farmers Alley Theatre in Kalamazoo. Other credits include the lead actor in a Build-a-Bear Workshop television commercial and playing the lead roles of Judas/John the Baptist in Godspell and Sarah Crewe in A Little Princess with Interlochen Summer Musical Theatre Production. She has been in countless local theatre productions and has shown incredible range playing roles such as the mischievous Louisa in Sound of Music, a very convincing Tommy Stubbins inDoctor Dolittle and the comedic Inspector Hound in The Real Inspector Hound. Her directors appreciate her exceptional memorization skills and ability to adapt to any situation while maintaining professionalism, a sense of humor and positive attitude. Madison captivates audiences with her expressive face and ability to truly become the character she plays.
A singer, actor and dancer, Madison has trained at Interlochen, Broadway Artists Alliance (NYC), Take it From the Top Broadway Workshops, studies voice with Lynne Church (Carlotta, Phantom of the OperaTouring and Toronto). She has taken many private musical theatre, dance and on-camera acting classes. Personal highlights from her training include acting for on-camera work with Adria Dawn (Chicago), an Annie Master Class with Andrea McCardle, a Glee Master Class with Telly Leung.
Madison’s friends joke with her about how much time she spends on musical theatre. She even has a pin on her backpack that says “I can’t, I have rehearsal,” and she wouldn’t have it any other way. In her free time Madison enjoys working out, skiing, dancing, reading, swimming, and has an addiction to the Broadway channel on Pandora. She loves to belt out the score from Heathers the Musical, lives for scary movies, and is One Direction’s biggest fan.
