Maggie Scrantom is a Chicago based theater, film, tv and commercial actor. A Georgia and Tennessee native, she's studied Improv at Chicago's IO, Shakespeare at London's LAMDA, Practical Aesthetics at New York City's Atlantic Acting School, and graduated from The University of Iowa with honors in Theatre and Literature. TV credits include: Chicago PD (NBC), Chicago Med (NBC). Film credits: Stolen, Convergence. Recent Chicago Theatre credits: Time is on Our Side (About Face Theatre), Parachute Men (Teatro Vista); After Miss Julie (Strawdog Theatre Company); A Tale of Two Cities, The Woman in White (Lifeline Theatre); As You Like It, Richard II, Women Beware Women (Two Pence Company); Troll (Fraud and Phony); Frederick Schiller Writes The Robbers (The Runaways Lab) as well as various roles with Waltzing Mechanics, The Back Room Shakespeare Project, The Living Room Playmakers, and Victory Gardens Theater. Maggie is also as an independent filmmaker and teaches sexual violence prevention in the Navy with Catharsis Productions.
