Matthew Lucki began performing on stage at the age of twelve and spent the majority of his adolescence jumping from one musical production to the next. That trend continued through high school and into college where he split his time playing Baseball and landing leading roles in such shows as Fiddler on the Roof, Little Shop of Horrors, and Barefoot in the Park. After graduating from North Central College with degrees in Business and Sociology, Matthew began seeking professional acting work in Chicago.
For several years Matthew would begin to build a solid base of non-union film work while training for additional on-camera opportunities. After spending 2009 in Los Angeles honing his audition technique at Margie Habor Studios Matthew returned to Chicago and quickly booked a lead role in the independent thriller After Effect. In the years that followed Matthew would work on numerous commercials, films and Chicago based shows such as Chicago PD, Sirens, and Chicago Med. His most recent work is on the original Verizon Go90 series as Coach Jimmy Greco in a recurring guest role for at least 5 episodes.
When he's not auditioning or seeking to improve his performance skills, Matthew works as a Police Officer in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood.
