Matthew Lucki began performing on stage at the age of twelve and spent the majority of his adolescence jumping from one musical production to the next. That trend continued through high school and into college where he split his time playing Baseball and landing leading roles in such shows as Fiddler on the Roof, Little Shop of Horrors, and Barefoot in the Park. After graduating from North Central College with degrees in Business and Sociology, Matthew began seeking professional acting work in Chicago.
Numerous industrial films and commercial work for companies like Empire Carpet, Dave and Busters, Luna and State Farm Insurance kept Matthew busy while he jumped around from day job to day job. A brief stint in Los Angeles in 2009 allowed Matthew to study On-Camera work and Audition Technique with Margie Haber Studios and to study/perform Improv at L.A. Connection in Sherman Oaks, CA. Upon returning to Chicago, Matthew quickly landed a role in the independent thriller AFTER EFFECT which is to be released in 2013, as well as the post-apocalyptic short WHITE FLAG.
Matthew currently spends his nights working as a Police Officer in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood while continually seeking additional opportunities to perform either on stage or on camera.
