Michael A. Dean
Born and raised in Chicago, Michael started at FORD Models and immersed himself in the commercial/print industry. During his time, he played various roles such as Private Jimmy Dean in Bury The Dead, Bernardo in West Side Story, and Picasso in Picasso at the Lapin Agile while earning his AA in Theatrical Arts at William Rainey Harper College.
Michael studied under The 2015 Tony Award® Nominee for Excellence in Theatre Education, and recipient of the ITA 2012 Award for Excellence in College Theatre, Kevin Long. He also studies with Chicago Actor Studio’s Voiceover, On Camera, and Acting Coach Kurt Naebig.
Recent TV and commercial credits include principal roles in Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas & Illinois, The Thompson Hotel Chicago, and McDonalds/Coca-Cola. Recent TV credits include featured roles on FOX’s Empire and NBC’s Dick Wolf’s Chicago Fire.
Michael has just recently joined Gray Talent Group where he plans on expanding his stage work with any of Chicago’s fantastic theatre community. Ready for 2017 Pilot Season, he is looking forward to working in the next Emmy Nominated HBO, or Showtime Series, recurring role on Shameless, Netflix’s Peaky Blinders & House of Cards, Starz’s Outlander, or any featured film opposite Michael Fassbender.
