Nima Rakhshanifar

Nima Rakhshanifar is an Iranian-American actor, singer, and musician from the Bay Area. Nima started studying music at the age of four with Mohammad Nejad: this early exposure to art motivated Nima to explore different mediums of storytelling. With the support of their friends and loved ones, Nima graduated from PCPA - Pacific Conservatory Theatre in Santa Maria, CA. Since then, they have worked regionally at Steppenwolf Theatre, Barrington Stage Company, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Victory Gardens, ACT Seattle, TheatreWorks SV, and South Coast Rep.

Nima’s need to tell stories can also be traced back to their childhood, when they used to translate films into Farsi for their grandmother.  Since then, Nima has been consistently honing their skills, and always embracing new opportunities to touch people’s lives through stories.
