Norrell grew her dreams of performing in the small town of Waynesburg, PA. Since her youth, she has been city hopping around the country. Her first stop was New York City where she gained her BFA in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College. After a few underground musicals and commercial background gigs, she was able to land an ensemble role in the NY Fringe Festival production of I Don <3 U Ne Mor(Lucille Lortel Theatre).
Yearning to quench her love of the outdoors, she then moved to Denver, CO where her musical theatre career took off. Her most memorable Denver theatre credits includeLegally Blonde(Arvada Center) and Hedwig and the Angry Inch(Aurora Fox) both under the musical direction of David Nehls. Other credits include Spamalot(BDT Stage), as well as taking on the role of Sheila in Hair(Town Hall Arts Center). Norrell's most recent and all-time favorite role was portraying the infamous Patsy Cline in Always... Patsy Cline. While in Colorado, Norrell began putting more time into the commercial/film/voiceover world. A major highlight was booking a print job for the renovation of Denver International Airport. She looks forward to more opportunities in Chicagoland and is over the moon to be working with Gray Talent Group.
When she's not performing, Norrell enjoys yoga and has been deepening her meditation practice. Being a breast cancer survivor, she is also an advocate for awareness and early detection.
