Ruby Dalton

Ruby is a quirky teen with a great sense of comedic timing who has always felt at home on stage.

She’s been actively involved at the internationally renowned, BRAVO! Performing Arts Academy in Oak Park,  for the past eight years where she’s performed in many pilot musical theater productions through Music Theater International (MTI).

Some of her favorite roles with BRAVO! include the soulful Rafiki, in The Lion King, JR., the snide Ms. Meers, in Thoroughly Modern Millie, JR. and Ariel, in the pilot production of Footloose JR. with MTI and writer, Dean Pitchford.

Currently, she’s a member of Oak Park-River Forest High School’s, Noteworthy show choir, a highly selective group of student singers and dancers, and Ovation Academy’s Encore program, where she’s playing the sassy and ambitious Val, in “A Chorus Line.”

Since Ruby has joined Gray Talent, she has been fortunate to be cast on projects that have caused her to grow as an actor. She is eager to explore complicated roles, take risks, and collaborate with the director to convey their vision.

She regularly studies voice with Kim Frost and Janet Louer for individual coaching sessions.

Ruby is honored to be a part of the Gray family. She brings their values of persistence, training, and respecting the process to her work, and looks forward to what’s next!
