Shaya is a fun-loving, quirky teen whose passion for performing began at the young age of 2, when she was enrolled in a princess ballerina class. Ever since then, dancing, singing, & acting have been a huge role in her life.
Shaya has been a part of Another Door Theater Project’s Conservatory directed by Janet Louer, as well as The Performers School’s Troupe with Maggie Portman & Ericka Mac. In addition, she has studied various forms of dance at the North Shore School of Dance, & participated as a Company member there. She has also enjoyed studying musical theater dance with Tammy Mader.
Shaya is currently playing the role of Laurie Morton in Brighton Beach Memoirs at the Citadel Theater, directed by Scott Phelps.
Some of her favorite roles include Logainne SchwartzandGrubenierre in the Putnam County Spelling Bee, Theo in Pippin, & Veruca Salt in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.
In her free time, Shaya enjoys playing her ukulele & writing songs. She also loves spending time outdoors, camping, & hanging out with her friends. She feels blessed to share the same interests as her older sister, Noa, who is also represented by Gray Talent.
Shaya is honored to be a part of the Gray Talent family and is grateful for the opportunity to pursue her dreams.
