Skylar made his debut on the stage in 7th grade where he stole the show as Conrad Birdie in the musical “Bye Bye Birdie” at his local middle school in Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
Since then he has done musicals and plays throughout high school. His love for film began when he attended Interlochen Arts Academy his senior year and was able to be apart of multiple student made films including “Blue: The Voyage of ‘Carpe Diem’” and “Nowhere I’d Rather Be," which was a part of Big Muddy Film Festival, Victoria Film Festival, and Self Medicated Film Festival where it was nominated for best short.
Skylar is now studying for his BFA in acting at DePaul University’s Theatre School and plans on creating his own films with his friends. He loves the theatre and improv scene that Chicago has to offer and has gone through the full course of Improv for Actors at Second City and plans on taking more classes as the years go on.
