Terry is originally from the Louisville Kentucky area.
He lived, worked and studied in New York for 11 years.
Terry moved to Chicago in 1987 and began working the off loop theater scene. In 2005 He was invited to become an Associate Artist at the TimeLine Theatre Company where he began a slew of critically acclaimed performances which includes Richard M. Nixon in Peter Morgan’s Frost/Nixon.

His versatility enables him to work on stage in Shakespeare, drama, comedy and musicals as well as T.V. and film.
Terry’s stage work includes stints at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, TimeLine Theatre, Writer’s Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, and Marriott Theatre among many others.
Television work includes “Chicago Justice”, “Shameless”, Mind Games” and “The Playboy Club” to name a few.
Terry is a three time recipient of the Joseph Jefferson Award for excellence in acting.
