American actor and bass-baritone Thomas Forde's versatile career has seen him on the stages of the world's leading opera companies and many of America's finest stages. Equally comfortable performing in the theatre, opera, and film/TV performance arenas, his schedule has been more than full. Recent roles include performances of Lurch in “The Addams Family” with New Theatre Kansas City; “Les Misérables” with Drury Lane Theatre in Chicago; Judge Turpin in “Sweeney Todd”, “Don Basilio” in “The Barber of Seville”, and Luther/Crespel in the “Tales of Hofmann” with Madison Opera; and two years and more than ten roles with Opernhaus Zürich as a member of it's soloist ensemble.
Other international credits include performances with Rome Opera and Zürich Kammerorchester. Major operatic credits include appearances with Santa Fe Opera, Seattle Opera, The Dallas Opera, Fort Worth Opera, Madison Opera, Syracuse Opera, and many others.
Television credits have seen him in seven episodes of “The Invested Life” for MSNBC; “Brain Games” for National Geographic Channel; and the “Doritos Loaded” campaign for 7-Eleven.
