Veronica Gutierrez, a passionate young lady whose smile is her favorite accessory, pours her heart into everything she undertakes. She was born in Pilsen, a neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois to a family of Mexican origin. Intensely trained in the Meisner Technique, she seeks and creates truth in every role she plays. As an artistically inclined teenager, she discovered her calling in acting after performing in her first musical, Little Shop of Horrors. She continued participating in musicals and plays such as, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Dog Lady.
She initiated her training under the direction of Annie Simons, has had the privilege of being coached by Kathryn Gately and Richard Poole with the Gately Poole Conservatory, and was one of the selected students to attend the General Theatre Studies Program at The Goodman Theatre. She continues to pursue growth personally and artistically through private training and academic studies.
Drama aside, she has been modeling since an early age, takes pleasure in recording covers of her favorite songs, and likes experimenting with fun hairstyles and makeup. She appreciates life's simple pleasures, the aroma of burning incense, quality time with her family, all while sipping on a citrus smoothie. For challenge and inspiration she recently found her center in yoga and boxing. Through her continuous focus and dedication, she hopes to soon star opposite Angelina Jolie in her next drama or action packed film.
