Will Wilhelm

Will Wilhelm is a gender non-conforming actor and company member at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Will's other credits include Straight White Men (Steppenwolf Theatre), written and directed by Young Jean Lee; Lost in Yonkers (Northlight Theatre); and High Fidelity (Refuge Theatre Project). They have also had the pleasure of working with Victory Gardens, Teatro Vista, About Face Theatre, American Theater Company, Chicago Children's Theatre, and Williamstown Theatre Festival. Will received the 2016 BroadwayWorld Chicago Award for Best Actor in a Musical for their performance as Angel in RENT at Metropolis Performing Arts Centre. They received their training at Northwestern University.

This year at OSF, Will is elated to create a non-binary role, Leslie, in Bill Rauch's queer reimagination of Oklahoma! Next year, they will again be performing a non-binary interpretation of Fleance in Macbeth as well as playing Le Beau and William in As You Like It.

Will currently splits their time between Chicago and Ashland, Oregon. In their free time, they enjoy board game nights, dancing in their collection of platform heels, and eating the gender binary for breakfast.
