Donna was born in Chicago, trained at Northwestern University, lived all over, but still calls Chicago home. She founded Steel Beam Theatre in 2001 in suburban St. Charles and keeps busy acting, directing and serving as Executive Director.  Raising three children limited her time in theatre at the beginning of her career, so there's no stopping her now!  "It's not work if you love what you do" is a philosophy she believes in, and she is blessed to love what she does.
