It’s no joke when Genevieve says she’s not crazy about people watching her, and had actually intended to become an international spy. It was her mother who pushed her into that talent show at four, where she took 1st prize singing “Fly Me to the Moon”. Were it not for the celebratory cookies, the resulting attention would have been excruciating. But, the die was cast. Since then, her voice and acting talents have drawn unusual attention through varied mediums. She made her Film debut competing against Dustin Hoffman, and Warren Beatty as a band singer in “Ishtar”, and later gave a touching performance as a gifted transvestite in the hilarious, “Attack of the Zombie Drag Queens.”

There have been numerous television appearances, occasionally as a principle, but frequently in the background where she is comfortably closer to the cookies on the Crafts table. Notable exceptions were her talk show performances on Bolivian Television, which garnered National attention, legions of fans, and hordes of paparazzi. True story. (Reluctantly, she had to concede her cover was sufficiently blown for espionage.)

Back home in New York City , Genevieve worked in private to sharpen her tools as an Artist. She studied Bel Canto singing, Meisner Technique for acting, and Feldenkrais, Laban, Tai Chi, and other techniques of movement theory. Gradually, she’s built a substantial resume listing dramatic, comedic, and musical roles in the Off-Broadway, European, and top tier regional theatres, where she plays.

As long as she gets to assume other identities, she lets people watch her. Especially, if they bring cookies.
