Katherine Banks hails from the great state of Michigan where she earned her BFA in theatre performance at the University of Michigan.  Katherine relocated to Chicago six years ago and has been seen here in A Christmas Carol, The Comedy of Errors, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Awesome 80’s Prom, Tent Meeting, and Leaving Iowa.  She is passionate about theatre for young audiences and has performed with educational companies including Adventure Stage Chicago, Arts Lanes, and Alphabet Soup Productions.  Katherine is currently the company manager and an ensemble member for Shakespeare: Scenes, Sonnets, and Songs with the Oak Park Festival Theater.  Additionally, Katherine serves as an actor-facilitator for various corporate, legal, and medical training programs. She is a voiceover artist and a proud graduate of the School at Steppenwolf.
