Kayla loves singing, dancing, and acting, and has been doing all three since a very early age.  After appearing in community productions such as Children's Letters to God, Seussical the Musical and Annie, Kayla made her professional debut in the national tour of A Christmas Story the Musical, immediately followed by Gypsy at Drury Lane, Oakbrook, Illinois.  Along with private voice and piano lessons, Kayla studies dance and is proficient in many styles, including ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop.  She dances in a performance group and has been to numerous competitions and conventions.  She also has taken gymnastics and is often found doing cartwheels and walkovers up and down the hallway!

When she is not performing, she loves spending time with her family, friends, her dog Barney, her guinea pigs and her fish.  Kayla is a bright and energetic kid who loves to swim, ride her bike, and go to the mall.
