Tim Payne has been working in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. After graduating from Baylor University with a degree in communications, Tim made his way to Los Angeles.  He began his career as an actor, transitioned into a talent agent and for the last twenty-five years has thrived working in television casting.  Some of the shows he has worked on include The Hunting Party currently airing on NBC/Peacock, The Unicorn, Splitting Up Together, God Friended Me, Crazy Ex Girlfriend (Artios Winner for best Comedy Casting), Young and Hungry, Suburgatory and the multi-Emmy winning drama !Huff, to name a few. One of the perks of his career is getting to work with actors and more than anything loves being a part of the creative atmosphere casting provides. The last six years Tim has been really enjoying the opportunity to teach college students at several universities, (currently ongoing at UC Santa Barbara) preparing them for what to expect in the “real world”, and to offer a sneak peek into the business opportunities of an acting career.
