Camille Seidel is brand new to the Chicago scene. She was born and raised in Philadelphia (cue Fresh Prince theme song) and graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2018 with a BA in Theatre and Fine Arts before quickly moving to Chicago to pursue acting. Camille loves short- and long-form improv and hits the local comedy circuit as much as possible. (Some may say too much.)
Camille recently put a pen to paper and discovered an interest in writing. She’s honored that “Still Growing Up”—her first original one-act play—was chosen to be produced in her alma mater, Muhlenberg’s MainStage, this coming winter. She has taken classes and workshops with a number of theaters including Pig Iron, The American Shakespeare Center and The Barrow Group NYC. Camille was recently featured in Dietz & Watson’s 2018 SUPERBOWL commercial and game-day live stream. Go Birds.
Instead of sleeping in her free time, Camille sings and writes music, plays the cello, tries to learn the guitar, writes sketch comedy and short plays and watches copious amounts of stand up and sketch on YouTube and Netflix for inspo (and a good laugh). You usually can find her wherever the food is.
